Kitchen renovation is the full process of taking an existing kitchen back to a clean shell and rebuilding it: removing the old units, moving or upgrading pipework and electrics, repairing walls and floors, fitting new cabinetry and worktops, tiling, installing appliances and finishing with decoration. We manage every stage from one point of contact.

Kitchens: materials, methods and options
No two kitchens are the same. These are the choices and variations we work with most often, and what they mean for the finished room.
Layouts: galley, L-shape, U-shape and island
Galley kitchens make the most of narrow rooms. L and U shapes give more worktop and a clear working triangle. Islands and peninsulas add seating and storage but need space to move around them and careful planning for power and plumbing. The right layout depends on the room, not on a showroom.
Worktops
Laminate is affordable and easy to replace. Solid timber brings warmth but needs oiling. Quartz and stone surfaces are hard-wearing and heat-tolerant, and are templated after the units are fitted so the cut-outs are exact. We plan joins and overhangs before the worktop is ordered.
Cabinetry and storage
Handleless, shaker and slab doors each change the feel of the room. Inside, pan drawers, larder units and corner solutions make far more difference to daily use than the door style does.
Plumbing, electrics and extraction
Moving a sink or hob means rerouting water, waste and power. Extraction must be ducted where possible to remove moisture properly. All of this is decided at the planning stage so it goes in at first fix.
Kitchens in extensions and open-plan rooms
When a kitchen moves into an extension or a knocked-through space, the structure, heating, flooring and lighting all need planning together. Covering the whole property lets us manage that as one project.

Do you supply the kitchen units or fit ones I have bought?

Can you move the sink, hob or boiler?
Moving services is a normal part of kitchen renovation. We plan the pipework and electrics at the start, so they go in before walls and floors are finished.
Can you build a kitchen as part of an extension?
Yes. We also handle extensions, so the new space and the kitchen can be planned and managed as one project.
